The Rev'd W. Tay Moss, Incumbent
As the Incumbent (sometimes called "Rector") of COTM, Tay is responsible for the pastoral leadership and spiritual nurture of the community. A graduate of Hampden-Syndney College and then Berkeley Divinity School at Yale University, Tay is a native of the United States and came to Canada five years ago with his wife, Betsy. He spent his first two years in Canada as the Associate Priest at The Church of St. Mary Magdalene. Tay has a strong background in digital media as well as Clinical Pastoral Care (hospital chaplaincy). His professional interests include liturgy, mission-based church, and contemplative spirituality. An Associate of the Order of the Holy Cross, he maintains his connection to that community. Tay serves the Diocese of Toronto as part of both the Fresh Expressions Working Group (which oversees new church plants) and the Back to Church Sunday Planning Team. Tay has several hobbies including computers, sailing, and softball. He and Betsy welcomed their son, Henry, into the world this past December. Kerrie Fulton, Director of Children's and Youth Ministry
As the Director of Children’s Ministry, Kerrie is responsible for
developing the thriving childrens and youth ministry and find ways for
children to contribute to worship. Kerrie has grown up and been an integral part of the small town of Holland Landing. Kerrie has a 15 yr old son and works for the York Region Board of Education and just completed a special education diploma course on a
leave of absence. She also works in an outdoor education setting working with inner city children utilizing experiential learning. Kerrie has worked with children since she was
13 as daycamp leader; coached softball; Girl Guides of Canada and taught Sunday school and youth group for over 8 years. Kerrie has many interests including playing baseball,
listening to music, watching movies and enjoy the outdoors! Kerrie thinks children are THE MOST IMPORTANT PEOPLE IN THE WORLD!

The Rev'd Canon John Hill, Honourary Assistant
Canon John Hill is an honorary assistant to the incumbent; he has been a presbyter in this diocese since 1974. He holds an engineering degree from the University of Toronto and a Master of Theology degree from the University of Nottingham. John is also the Interfaith Officer for the diocese. The focus of his work over many years has been clarifying and strengthening the ritual practices of the Church in a time when the role of the Church in society is rapidly changing; he is the author of two books on Baptism and many articles on the renewal of the liturgy. He is a member of the North American Academy of Liturgy, of the executive of Liturgy Canada. He is married to Liz Gilbert, and between them they have five children and six grandchildren. His daughter Rosaline was formerly a youth leader in this parish.

Nancy Springer, Theological Intern
Nancy is a second year seminary student at Wycliffe College and is sponsored by the Diocese of West Texas. When she graduates she will return to her home diocese to be ordained into the deaconate and then to the priesthood. She has a BA in English and has spent the past 18 years working as a technical writer and editor. She has a son who attends Texas A&M University. Nancy is thoroughly enjoying her time at Wycliffe and in Toronto, although she readily admits that winter is not her favorite season, having grown up and lived most of her life in the hot Texas summers and mild winters. As a student intern at COTM, Nancy is excited to learn from Tay and Eric all that they can offer in planning and conducting services and already feels blessed to call COTM her church home this year.

The Rev'd Catherine Keating, Deacon and Theological Intern
Catherine was ordained a permanent deacon raised up in the parish of St. John’s York Mills four years ago. Catherine is a retired educator, having taught for the North York Board of Education, York University and the University of Toronto and served as administrator in the York Region District School Board as well as an education officer for the Ministry of Education, Ontario. She has a doctorate in education from the University of Toronto, OISE. Her ministry includes pastoral care for shut-ins and seniors in residences and care facilities. Catherine is also an Associate of the Sisters of St. John the Divine. Most recently Catherine has been working with Tay and Kerri to develop the Centre for Excellence in Christian Education – CECE - a resource centre to serve those who minister to children and youth. The centre is housed at SJYM. Presently Catherine is completing the requirements for the M. Div. degree at Wycliffe College serving most of her internship time at COTM and CECE with Tay as supervisor. Catherine was raised in the Eastern Orthodox tradition and has an interest in iconography and liturgy. In her spare time she enjoys studying, travelling with her husband, John, and English murder mysteries.
