The Eglinton Deanery

A deanery is a group of Anglican Churches organized according to their geographic area. The Eglinton Deanery is composed of the following churches (plus COTM).

• Christ Church, Deer Park
• Grace Church of the Hill
• St. Augustine of Canterbury
• St. Clement's, Eglinton
• St. Cuthbert, Leaside
• St. Leonard
• St. Margaret, North Toronto
• St. Michael and All Angels
• St. Timothy, North Toronto
• Church of the Transfiguration

The Larger Picture

The Church of The Messiah is a part of the Eglinton Deanery, which is in the Episcopal Area of York-Scarborough under Bishop Patrick Yu's jurisdiction in the Diocese of Toronto. The Diocese is, in turn, part of the Anglican Church of Canada. Being Anglican means that our church has a historical relationship with the Church of England and is in communion with the Archbishop of Canterbury.
