Fr. Tay Meeting with Councillor Adam Vaughan

Recently Fr. Tay met with Toronto City Council Member
Adam Vaughan at City Hall. The purpose of the meeting was to open lines of communication between local government and the parish. During the meeting the Councillor suggested ways that the church could meet some of the most dire social needs in the neighbourhood, particularly noting the 250 Davenport Community Housing Project just Southwest of the church. Tay returned with some excellent ideas to share with people back at COTM, and was happy to see how the city and the church could work together.
